A Bit About Me
Jason W. Melber
I’ve been fishing my entire life, all over the United States, in every pond, lake, creek and ocean I’ve come across. I don’t leave home without a fishing rod! I was born and raised in Round Rock, leaving Texas briefly to serve in the United States Marine Corps. I served as a weather man in the Marines and completed my Ph.D in Atmospheric Science upon exiting the military. I am licensed Captain by the USCG.
I’ve been fishing the Aransas Pass / Port Aransas area for over 30 years, and as a guide, I specialize in redfish and speckled trout. I am passionate about providing unique and memorable fishing experiences to all of my clients.
